Photo estimate vs. site walkthrough

Short answer
Photos work for most homes and small commercial jobs. Walkthroughs are better for multi-room, multi-floor, hotel and office projects where access and phasing matter.
Good photos include
- The whole pile from a few steps back
- Each room or area
- Stairs, elevators or tight doorways
- Where the truck can park
When photos are enough
- Single items or a few pieces of furniture
- Garage, attic or room cleanouts that fit in one load
- Debris piles you can photograph in full
- Rental turnovers with clear room-by-room photos
When a walkthrough makes sense
- Hotel, office or retail projects across multiple floors
- Jobs with loading-dock, elevator or schedule restrictions
- Whole-house or estate cleanouts where contents are hard to photograph
- Projects that need a written scope before approval
Tips for better photos
Take wide shots of each area plus close-ups of anything heavy or unusual. Include the path out of the building, such as stairs or narrow halls. Send them by text to (214) 274-9094 with the address and preferred timing.
